Gibraltar, known as one of the mythical Pillars of Hercules, has some of the best diving in the whole Mediterranean. 'The Rock' has been a haven for seafearers for over 1000 years with Roman and Phoenician anchors still being found around some of our most popular dive sites. Countless pieces of ancient pottery, pipes and gin bottles, along with World War II artefacts are regularly spotted. How many divers have not heard of the legendary “Buster Crabb”? He started his diving career in Gibraltar under the supervision of commander Bill Bailey in Rosia Bay. which is where the body of Admiral Lord Nelson was taken after the Battle of Trafalgar.

'THE ROCK' has over 40 dive sites, including wrecks, reefs and pinnacles. All of these sites having one thing in common... they are teaming with marine life of an astounding variety. A constant influx of Atlantic, nutrient rich water, keeps these dive sites well populated. On any dive you can expect to see hue shoals of Anthia, Mackerel, Sardines, Bream, Mullet and Gurnard to name but a few. Many nooks and crannies are occupied by Moray Eels, Conger Eels, Octopus and Spider Crabs, all in abundance, so making for some fantastic photo opportunities.

Dive Charters is the only dive centre licensed to dive and train in Gibraltar waters.
