
PADI Assistant Instructor
What can you do once your qualified?
-
Teach PADI Specialties such as Peak Performance Buoyancy and Project Aware.

Conduct lessons in Discover Scuba Diving, Bubble Maker programmes and PADI Seal Team Aqua Missions independently.
-
Present initial skills training under the instructor’s direct supervision during confined water training.

Conduct open water surface skill evaluation during open water diver course under the instructor’s indirect supervision.
What do you need to start the course?

Be a PADI Divemaster or leadership level with another diver training organisation.

Be 18 years old.
-
Have 60 logged dives with documented experience in night, deep and navigation diving.

Be a certified diver for at least six (6) months.
-
Medical clearance attesting to dive fitness signed by a physician with the previous 12 months.

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary care course completion (or qualifying training) within the last 24 months.
You will also need a full set of diving equipment which includes exposure suit (7mm or higher), boots, hood, fins, mask, snorkel, BCD, Regs and dive computer. We can rent to you a full set of equipment. Contact us for special deals on gear.
Required Materials
You will need a full PADI IDC Crew pack which is included in the price of the course, an RDP and ERDP, PADI latest edition of students materials: Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster. All of which can be purchased with us.
